STOP Climate Change!!!
If we continue on with our climate change route, international economic issues will rise. Jobs will have to be refashioned, altered, or even completely forgotten as nature floods lower-level farms, and burns down forests in times of drought.Climate change is an international issue that affects every place on Earth – because we all live and depend on nature. It will cost time, lives, health, and fresh water – but also, money:
-
In Bangladesh, farmers had to leave their farms and lose their jobs as water levels overfilled and monsoons made it unsafe to work in that area. Some farms were even completely destroyed and wiped out.
-
In Australia, hot weather resulted in frequent fires that last longer than usual – putting paramedics, firemen, and policemen at risk in the dangerous environment.
-
And even locally, think about the postal workers or the construction workers – with an unpredictable environment – where it could flood next week or pour rain down from the sky, how can governments guarantee their safety? Their jobs, then, must be altered or changed, which will cost money. (18)
-
Indirectly: countries that had suffered under natural disasters must spend both money and labor to repair their cities and towns
